“MVR” is providing an excellent service by saving and making rare hard to find videos like this available. So much better than if I’d ever found this on VHS. I was very impressed with the quality, beautifully remastered. I was not expecting to find anything so you can imagine my surprise. So when I found “MVR” this was the first thing I searched for. Also chances were that something like this would never be released on DVD. I checked “Amazon” & “Ebay” and quickly realized that this video was way out of print and impossible to find on VHS.

The quality was not very good and I wanted to see these videos on a full size TV instead of a small computer screen. Whoever uploaded the videos on “YouTube” said they were taken from this video. I did not have MTV in the 1980’s, so I’d never even seen any of these videos before. I first heard about this “Through The Looking Glass” video on “YouTube”. Available here on DVD for the first time, and has been remastered from the original recording for the best possible picture and 2.0 Dolby Sound. It is an extremely rare item on VHS as it was deleted from production nearly 25 years ago and was only released in Japan and UK and never in the USA. Through the Looking Glass was only ever officially released on VHS.
The four songs marked with an asterisk are from a 1983 live performance of the band at the Brixton Acadamy. The video collection comes complete with introductions to the twelve songs done by the band that were taken from an interview done in 1984 while Paul was still in the band. Track List -Telecommunication*, DNA*, I Ran, Space Age Love Song, You Can Run*, Wishing If I had a Photograph of You, Nightmares, The Traveller*, Transfer Affection, (It’s Not Me) Talking, The More You Live, The More You Love, Never Again (The Dancer).
It contained A Flock of Seagulls music videos as well as live performances from 1981-1984 and brief interview segments through out. In 1984, a VHS video, Through the Looking Glass, was released only in the UK and Japan.
